I haven't driven this car nearly as much as I'd like this year, just too many other cars to play with. That and there's been a lot of work that the Cappuccino has needed. It's spent most of the year in storage, coming out every couple of months for small fun times.

This year, I've made a point of addressing many deferred maintenance items on the car. Still not a ton of driving, hoping to change that in the coming year tho. Especially now that I've addressed the three biggest issues with the car: brakes, suspension, and engine maintenance.

Brakes & Suspension - July 2025

Refreshed the brakes with new pads and rotors.  Pads are Project µ B Spec, front rotors from a Suzuki Swift, with rear rotors ordered from Japan.

Replaced the springs and dampers with BCRacing coil-overs.

Engine Maintenance - December 2025

I'd always earmarked the needful engine work as a winter project. I started the project on December 1st, I'm just now wrapping it up. These things take me a bit of time on the first pass for reasons. Near car, new things to learn, new tools to buy or make, new parts that I may or may not have on hand...

I won't go into an exhaustive description of this, but I have a few short compilation videos of the process that I'll link here in no particular order of actual events.

It's not quite done yet, a few more things to take care of, but I'll have it back on the road rolling around before 2026.
