Mentioned that I had planned on trading my Golf GTI for an electric vehicle. That's happened. Not much to really say, though. Lease return 2022 Kia EV6. (RWD, GT-Line trim, 19K miles) Black. I've put around 700 miles under the wheels since picking it up with a road trip to Reno and back.
So far I've charged charged it three times at DC fast chargers and once with a level 2 destination charger. (In Reno at the Grand Sierra Resort) On a charge it happily does more then 250 miles. No range anxiety issues, even driving up over the Sierra Mountains.
No deep review. It's a very comfortable and relaxing thing to drive. No range anxiety.
I'm not gonna go ham on home charging. I've ordered an inexpensive Level 1 charger for home. (110v/12A) Since I usually do less than 20-30 miles per day, a Level 1 charger should be fine for most daily-driver duty. Even if I can only put 24 miles on the car in a night, that will still be pretty good.
